The Casablanca Story: Finding Our Oasis on the River

Every great restaurant starts with a vision. Ours was simple: to create an oasis in the heart of Osaka where the vibrant flavors of the Middle East meet the serene beauty of the riverside.
The search for the perfect location was exhaustive. We knew we didn't want just another storefront on a crowded street. We wanted a place that could breathe. When we first walked onto the property that is now Casablanca Namba Riverside, we knew we had found our home. The gentle curve of the Dotonbori River, the open sky above, and the energy of Namba just a stone's throw away—it was the perfect juxtaposition of tranquility and life.
Building Casablanca was a labor of love. We designed the space to reflect the warmth of Mediterranean hospitality—using natural textures, warm lighting, and an expansive terrace that blurs the line between indoors and outdoors. We wanted our guests to feel as though they had stepped out of the bustling city and into a coastal café in the Levant.
Today, Casablanca stands as a testament to that dream—a place where cultures blend, flavors dance, and every guest is treated like family.
